MBABANE – The Examinations Council of Eswatini (ECESWA) has announced that the 2025 Grade 7 examination results will be officially released on Tuesday, 30 December 2025.
The announcement follows the formal approval of the results by the ECESWA Board earlier today, marking a significant milestone in the country’s academic calendar.
The results will be officially released by the Minister of Education and Training, Honourable Owen Nxumalo, at 12:00 noon at the Ministry of Education and Training in Mbabane. The event is expected to draw attention of education stakeholders, school administrators, parents, and members of the media, as thousands of learners await the outcome of their primary school examinations.
The release of the Grade 7 results comes just a week after the announcement of the Junior Certificate (JC) examination results, marking a busy and important period for the education sector. Together, the two sets of results provide a clearer picture of learner performance across key transition levels within the education system and help guide placement decisions for the next academic year.
ECESWA indicated that all necessary processes had been completed to ensure the accuracy, credibility, and integrity of the results before their approval by the Board. The Council reiterated its commitment to upholding high standards in assessment and evaluation, in line with national education policies and international best practices.
The Grade 7 examinations mark a critical milestone for learners as they prepare to transition from primary to secondary education. For many families, the results determine school placement and future academic pathways. ECESWA has therefore urged parents and guardians to remain patient and to access results only through official channels once they are released.
The Council also expressed appreciation to teachers, school administrators, markers, and all stakeholders who contributed to the successful administration of the examinations. Their dedication, it noted, plays a vital role in maintaining the credibility of the country’s education system.
As anticipation builds ahead of the official release, ECESWA encouraged candidates to remain calm and hopeful, reminding them that the results represent only one step in their educational journey. Further guidance on accessing results and next steps will be provided during the official announcement on Tuesday.
