MBABANE— Elshadai Jersey Factory and School Uniform, established in 2019, has grown into a key player in Eswatini’s textile manufacturing sector, supplying schoolwear nationwide and expanding into regional markets.
Operating from Manzini, the company manufactures school jerseys and uniforms, as well as other textile products for individuals, schools, and institutions. Elshadai has developed a reputation for producing durable, warm, and professionally finished garments, positioning itself as a reliable supplier within the education sector and beyond.
Speaking to Eswatini Positive News, company founder Nkhosephayo Zondo said Elshadai supplies jerseys to schools across the Kingdom, reflecting the scale of the company’s operations. “We supply every school,” Zondo said.
In addition to school jerseys, the company produces full school uniforms and fabric, industrial workwear including overalls, and custom-made T-shirts. Elshadai also offers branding services such as printing and embroidery, providing integrated apparel solutions for institutions and businesses.
The company has also expanded beyond Eswatini’s borders, securing clients in South Africa. Zondo said plans are underway to expand into Mozambique as part of a broader regional growth strategy aimed at strengthening the presence of Eswatini-manufactured products.
Elshadai serves both retail and bulk clients, supplying individual customers as well as organisations requiring large-volume orders. Delivery services are available for bulk clients to support timely distribution of uniforms and workwear.
Operating under the slogan “Stay Warm & Uniform Ready!”, Elshadai offers competitively priced products, with school jerseys starting from E120. Elshadai Jersey Factory and School Uniform operates from Cathedral Mall, Shop No. 3, along Tenburgen Street, opposite the Roman Catholic Church in Manzini.
Since its establishment, the company has become part of Eswatini’s growing manufacturing sector, demonstrating the contribution of locally owned enterprises to national supply and regional trade.
