MBABANE– The Eswatini Discipline Camp (EDC) is set to welcome celebrated South African youth mentor Prince Wako Pitori for a week-long programme aimed at empowering young people across the country.

Prince Wako Pitori, founder of DreamHub Discipline Camp and television presenter of Uth’uyiclever Boot Camp on Moja Love (Channel 157), is expected to arrive in Eswatini on March 5, 2026. His visit marks a significant step in strengthening youth development efforts and fostering cross-border collaboration within the region.

According to Bandile Dlamini, co-founder of EDC, the visit will focus on addressing pressing challenges faced by young people, including substance abuse, low self-esteem, bullying, anger, disrespect and mental health struggles.

“Prince Wako Pitori is well known for transforming the lives of young people in South Africa, helping them recognise their self-worth and potential,” said Dlamini.

During his stay, Prince Wako Pitori will participate in a series of radio and television interviews, where he will share insights from his experience in youth mentorship and structured boot camp programmes. He is also scheduled to visit selected communities to explore opportunities for collaboration and contribute to ongoing youth empowerment initiatives.

The Eswatini Discipline Camp, held at Mbuluzi Game Reserve during school holidays, has already made a notable impact since its launch in December 2025. The programme has hosted several camps aimed at guiding young people who were considered at risk or lacking direction.

The January session proved particularly successful, with participants developing discipline, confidence and leadership skills through structured activities and mentorship. Building on that momentum, another camp is scheduled for the April school holidays, with organisers optimistic about expanding their reach and impact.

EDC’s mission centres on equipping young emaSwati with practical tools, strong values and consistent mentorship to help them thrive in all aspects of life. Dlamini emphasised that youth empowerment is not a once-off intervention but requires sustained effort, community involvement and structured programmes that nurture long-term growth.

The upcoming visit by Prince Wako Pitori is expected to further enhance these efforts, creating stronger partnerships between Eswatini and South Africa in advancing youth development.

Parents wishing to enrol their children in the April camp are encouraged to contact 7960 6266 or 7908 2984 for registration details.

With collaboration, mentorship and discipline at the forefront, EDC continues to champion a brighter future for the nation’s youth.
