MBABANE- The Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) had announced that the award-winning four-member crew, Tru-Classic, has been added to the performance line-up for the highly anticipated Showthemflame’s Event at Hotel Sky in Sandton, South Africa.

This exciting addition will see Tru-Classic, known for hits including “Makoti” featuring Mlindo The Vocalist, perform alongside fellow Eswatini talent, the sensational songwriter and performer Young Zesh, this coming Sunday, June 29th, starting at 3 PM.

This opportunity is courtesy of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture, following their successful three-day Arts Summit which focused on creating opportunities for the creative industries.

According to Stanley Dlamini, CEO of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture, “We saw an opportunity to add other artists to the line up and we picked Tru-Classic to join Young Zesh this coming Sunday to perform in Sandton. They are doing a similar style of music, and the artists lined up in SA are Afro Pop and Soul artists, so they fit well with the theme.”

The Showflames event precedes a significant studio session for Young Zesh, who is scheduled to record the day after the event in collaboration with Yamke, the Eastern Cape Afro Soul female artist.

Stanley Khoza, Showflames Director and Deputy Chairperson of AIRCO, commented on the collaboration, “This is going to be an exciting experience for both Yamke and Young Zesh, as we believe that collaboration is a new way of growth and also reaching wide audiences.”

Young Zesh shared his enthusiasm for the event, extending an invitation to all emaSwati based in South Africa. “I invite all Swazis based in South Africa to come through to Hotel Sky in Sandton to enjoy the Swazi performance alongside other South African artists, including the sensational Aubrey Qwabe, Trademark, Yamke, Mthokozisi, DJ Siar Maspila and more.”

The Showthemflames Event kicks off at 3 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2025. For more details, attendees can visit the Eswatini National Arts and Culture Council’s social media pages or the Showflames pages.
