NHLANGANO – Excitement is building ahead of the INSTACASH Shiselweni FA Cup Northern Super League Tournament set to take place this Saturday at Etjendlovu Sports Ground.
Four teams will battle for top honours in what is expected to be an action-packed football spectacle starting from 9am. The participating sides are Combined Stars, Mpini Rovers, Mpini Cosmos and Hlathikhulu FC.
Combined Stars will open the day against Mpini Rovers at 9am before Mpini Cosmos take on Hlathikhulu FC at 11am. An exhibition social match featuring INSTACASH Social and SRFA Social will then follow at 1pm, while the winners of the earlier fixtures will face off in the final scheduled for 2:30pm.
Football supporters from across the Shiselweni Region are expected to attend the tournament, with organisers promising an entertaining atmosphere both on and off the pitch. Entry to the event is free, although supporters have been encouraged to bring their identification documents for transaction purposes.
The competition is expected to provide local teams with another opportunity to showcase their talent and fighting spirit while also strengthening football development within the region.
The tournament continues to highlight the growing partnership between football stakeholders and the corporate sector, with support coming from INSTACASH, Joma Sport South Africa and Orchard Insurance.
