MBABANE – The duo of Sifiso Mashwama and Leonard Bennett propelled the Ezulwini Municipality to the top of the table in the Umelusi Group Business Golf League.
This was on Wednesday (May 14, 2025) during round four of the league sponsored by Umelusi Group. According to the Mbabane Golf Club, it was fireworks all the way on the 4th round of the Umelusi Group Business League with the top 4 teams all carding 43 points.
“The pair of Sifiso Mashwama and Leonard Bennett representing the Ezulwini Municipality won on a count back over the Liberty Life Swaziland pair of Moses Mosaic Masilela and Mthokozisi Ntshingila.
Lwazi Mchobokazi and Ncamiso Dlamini of Sibeve and Swaziland Building Society pair of Sibusiso Shongwe and Musa Motsa also battled it out during the tournament,” reads a statement from Mbabane Golf Club.
In the novelties, golfer Brian Mabuza took both the Longest Drive and the Nearest to the pin at 9/18. Female golfer Nosmilo Kgomo claimed the Ladies Longest Drive. Lwazi Mchobokazi and Mxolisi Lindelani Magagula claim the nearest to the pin at 8/17 and 2/11 respectively.
“The field was very hot during the tournament. We thank all the companies who make our Business League a successful place for networking on the greens,” concludes the statement.
