SITHOBELWENI- Fanson inspires positivity and resilience with his latest hip-hop anthem, officially released yesterday.
Eswatini’s rising hip-hop talent Fanson has officially released his latest single “Abafuni Siphumelele”, now available on all digital streaming platforms, including Spotify: https://ffm.to/abafunisiphumelele. Fans are encouraged to stream, share, and support the track as it makes waves across the country and beyond.
Produced by TN$ Savvy and recorded at Wise Eagle Records, the track was fully handled in-house, from beat production to vocals, mixing, and mastering. The sound draws inspiration from Young Zesh’s flow on “Sengibeketele”, while showcasing Fanson’s own lyrical style and delivery.
The rapper, born Siboniso Fana Mamba, explained that the track comes from a place of resilience and reflection. “In our communities, many people don’t show support. Instead, they bring negative comments. This song is about addressing jealousy and negativity while encouraging positivity and perseverance,” he said.
Fanson also credits his motivation to established local artists like Lyrikal Busta, Jay Spitter, and Intwanencane, whose journeys inspire him to keep pushing boundaries and remain authentic to his craft.
With “Abafuni Siphumelele,” Fanson delivers not only a catchy hip-hop anthem but also a strong message for young creatives facing discouragement and criticism. His release marks another step forward in his journey from intimate performances to building a broader audience.
