MBABANE Festivalgoers attending this year’s MTN Bushfire Festival can expect a mix of entertainment, digital banking services and interactive games after FNB Eswatini unveiled plans for a major customer activation at House on Fire in Malkerns this weekend.

The bank, which recently announced a E437 500 sponsorship towards the internationally recognised festival, returns as the official banking partner for Bushfire 2026. FNB Eswatini says its activation is aimed at creating a smooth and memorable experience for customers during the three day festival.

As part of the partnership, the bank will provide onsite ATMs, Speedpoint devices and technical support to assist festival attendees with seamless payments and other banking services throughout the event.

Speaking ahead of the festival, FNB Eswatini Chief Marketing Officer, Sibusile Dlamini, said the bank wanted customers to enjoy both convenience and entertainment while attending Bushfire.

“As the bank of firsts, we are always thinking about ways in which we can elevate the experiences of our customers and make them memorable. Throughout the Bushfire weekend, our teams will assist customers and emaSwati with account opening, accessing selected banking services, including online banking, as well as card assistance,” she said.

Dlamini said the bank has also prepared a gaming themed activation linked to its ongoing “Get in the Game” swipe campaign, which is designed to keep customers engaged throughout the festival weekend.

Among the attractions expected at the FNB activation area are a spin and win challenge, penalty shootout challenge, gaming booths, slushie stations and popcorn bars for festival attendees. “We have curated an experiential activation for attendees to enjoy seamless interaction with our services and top up their festival wristbands. We will have a selection of fun games including spin and win challenge where our customers can play to win cool festival aligned FNB merchandise,” she said.

She added that customers will be able to access the full activation experience by tapping their FNB cards when reloading festival wristbands. The activation area will operate on Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 6pm.

Meanwhile, the bank has urged customers to remain vigilant during the festival by protecting their bank cards and personal information while using banking facilities onsite.

FNB advised customers to immediately block lost cards using the FNB App, avoid sharing PINs and report suspicious activity through official channels.
