MBABANE – The Ministry of Health has once again taken a significant step toward improving emergency healthcare delivery across Eswatini. Eight brand-new ambulances, valued at over E8.8 million, have been procured by Government and distributed to key health facilities around the country.
The handover was led by Under Secretary, Administration Rev. Anthony Masilela, who emphasized that the initiative is part of Government’s ongoing efforts to close critical gaps in emergency care and ensure timely medical response for communities.

The beneficiary facilities include:
- Mkhuzweni Health Centre
- Dvokolwako Health Centre
- Mankayane Hospital
- Pigg’s Peak Hospital
- Manzini Hospital
- Mbabane Government Hospital
- Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital
- Manzana Clinic
Some of these facilities are receiving their second ambulance this year, a development that will significantly enhance their capacity to respond to emergencies and transfer patients between facilities more efficiently.
This investment demonstrates Government’s commitment to strengthening the health sector, improving service delivery, and ensuring that no community is left behind in accessing quality healthcare.
