MANZINI – Excitement is steadily building for the Maskandi Fest African Tour as one of South Africa’s biggest Maskandi stars, Khuzani Mpungose, prepares to headline the event in Eswatini on 15 August 2026.
The award-winning musician will lead a star-studded line-up at the festival organised by Doek On Fleek Lifestyle, an event that promises to celebrate African culture, music and heritage under the theme “I Am An African.”
Khuzani has earned a reputation as one of Maskandi’s finest performers, attracting thousands of supporters wherever he performs. His powerful vocals, energetic stage presence and storytelling ability have helped him build a career that continues to grow beyond South Africa’s borders.
Over the years, he has released several successful projects and delivered hit songs including Umjolo Lowo, Inja Noboya and Ngikukhumbule, making him a favourite among traditional music lovers. His performances are known for their energy, audience interaction and the authenticity that has become his trademark.
