‘When a child is born, they are given names. In the same way, I will give you a name of the new clinic which we had just officially opened. It shall be called, Esicancweni Setemphilo Health Facility,” said the King to much applause of residents in attendance.
When the King toured the clinic, Emergency Medical Response Unit personnel exhibited how patients receive treatment at the health facility. The King said, after the tour, he was pleased to see the mini-hospital ambulances.
“There is equipment that can monitor the heart beat, blood pressure and high-tech medical equipment for surgeries,” said the King.
The new health centre constructed by SMVAF is expected to improve access to healthcare services for residents in surrounding communities.
His Majesty, when delivering his remarks, prayed that despite construction of the health facility, accidents were to be minimal.
“When one visits the health facility, it can be similar to visiting your parents where you will be taken good care of. With all the medical equipment available, I am sure the residents will get the necessary medical care. I would like to applaud and encourage the medical staff to work hard in saving lives,” said the King.
His Majesty further commended the good work of medical practitioners accross the country.
His Majesty noted that over the years, SMVAF has worked hard to accumulate funds to compensate accident victims. He applauded the government parastal for honesty and integrity in safeguarding public funds at the institution.
