MATSAPHA – His Majesty King Mswati III has left the country on a journey of global importance, departing Eswatini for a State Visit to Ghana before heading to Sevilla, Spain, where he will participate in the United Nations 4th International Conference on Financing for Development. Accompanied by Inkhosikati LaMagongo, the King’s mission reflects Eswatini’s growing influence on the international stage and its commitment to contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive global economy.
Held under the theme “Mobilizing Resources for People and Planet,” the conference convenes world leaders, economists, and development experts to explore strategic financing solutions for the world’s most pressing challenges, poverty, inequality, climate change, and economic recovery. Hosted in partnership with global institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and World Trade Organization, this year’s summit is considered one of the most crucial gatherings since the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
