MANZINI — Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT) Campus Director Mrs Tfobile Gumede has commended the graduating Class of 2025 for their resilience, innovation, and determination, urging them to forge ahead with purpose and integrity as they embark on their next chapter.

Delivering her message to graduates during the university’s 2025 graduation ceremony held at Mavuso Exhibition and Trade Centre in Manzini, themed “Design the Future of Excellence: Forging Ahead with Purpose,” Gumede congratulated the students for completing their studies during a period marked by global uncertainty. She said their perseverance reflected the enduring spirit of Limkokwing University and stood as a powerful example of creativity and resilience in action.

Gumede extended heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty’s Government, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, and the university’s industry partners for their continued support in bridging the gap between academia and the real world. She also paid tribute to the university’s faculty, staff, and the families of the graduates, acknowledging their sacrifices and encouragement as the cornerstone of the students’ success.

The Campus Director said the Class of 2025 had not only earned academic qualifications but had also developed the creative mindset, adaptability, and confidence required to thrive in a rapidly changing world. She noted that Limkokwing University’s holistic approach to education prepared students to become innovators and leaders capable of driving positive transformation in society.

“Today, we do not just see graduates; we see the innovators and leaders the world urgently needs,” she said. “Your Limkokwing journey has equipped you with more than knowledge — it has given you a creative spirit and the courage to embrace change.”

Encouraging graduates to carry forward the lessons learned during their studies, Mrs Gumede outlined three key principles for success: character, lifelong learning, and purpose. She advised them to lead with character, explaining that true leadership was demonstrated through integrity, courage, and the willingness to uplift others.

She also emphasised the importance of continuous learning, urging graduates to “continue to explore, adapt, and grow.” She encouraged them to acquire new skills, embrace curiosity, and remain open to innovation as the world of work continues to evolve.

In addition, Gumede called on the graduates to find and pursue their unique purpose with passion and energy. “You are empowered to design a future of excellence,” she said, reminding them that their contribution to society would be defined not only by their achievements but by the values they uphold.

Describing the graduates as “Eswatini’s gift to the world,” Gumede said the university took great pride in their accomplishments and had full confidence in their ability to make meaningful contributions globally. She encouraged them to innovate with compassion, lead with integrity, and serve their communities with purpose.

“We are immensely proud of you,” she said in closing. “Go forth with purpose, innovate with compassion, and lead with integrity. May the Almighty God bless your path.”

Her message concluded with a call for graduates to remain lifelong ambassadors of Limkokwing University, carrying forward its values of creativity, innovation, and social responsibility wherever their journeys lead.
