MALKERNS – South African singer-songwriter Lloyiso is still basking in the love he received from Eswatini after delivering one of the most memorable performances at this year’s MoMo Xperience, taking to social media to thank fans for an unforgettable night.
The soulful vocalist, whose emotionally charged set captivated thousands at the festival on Saturday night, shared a heartfelt message on his Facebook page shortly after the show, expressing his gratitude to the Kingdom’s music lovers.
“SWAZILAND! ESWATINI! I felt your love last night! Your energy! Your hearts. You sang the songs word for word! Is it too early to say that’s my favourite performance this year🥹”
The message quickly resonated with fans who packed the Malkerns venue, many of whom had braved the winter cold to witness the award-winning artist perform some of his biggest hits.
Throughout his set, Lloyiso showcased the exceptional live vocals that have earned him acclaim across Africa, taking fans on an emotional journey with songs including Speak, Dream About You and the powerful Madoda Sabelani. Every performance was met with thunderous applause as the audience sang along almost word for word, creating an atmosphere that the singer himself admitted was unlike any other.
His moving rendition of Madoda Sabelani, a song advocating against gender-based violence, stood out as one of the evening’s defining moments, drawing heartfelt reactions from the crowd and highlighting music’s power to inspire meaningful conversations.
