MALKERNS – The excitement is building as the MTN Bushfire Firefly Grand Finale approaches, offering music enthusiasts a chance to win double tickets to the much-anticipated event by participating in a fun guessing game.
The eighth edition of the MTN Bushfire Firefly Grand Finale will take place on April 24, 2025 at House On Fire.

– Each winner will receive two tickets to the Firefly Grand Finale on April 24, 2025.
The MTN Bushfire Firefly initiative creates a platform for the #YoungGiftedFree to express themselves through music. This competition supports aspiring vocalists, singers, and rappers aged 16 to 35 who submitted their recordings for a chance to showcase their talent.
The Top three winners will earn the opportunity to perform live at the MTN Bushfire Festival, scheduled for May 30 to June 1, 2025.
While applications closed last week on March 7, 2025, the Top 10 artists will be selected by public vote to perform at the MTN Bushfire Firefly Grand Finale. The Top 3 winners will receive exciting prizes and a coveted performance slot at the festival.
Since its inception in 2017, the MTN Bushfire Firefly has empowered over 100 emerging artists, providing them with essential tools to elevate their careers. Each year, 20 artists are selected from applications and promoted across MTN Bushfire’s social media platforms.

– Voting Commences: March 11 – March 26, 2025
– Top 10 Announcement: March 28, 2025
