MANZINI– The local poetry scene is set for a major revival as the highly anticipated showcase, ‘Nkhondlo Cho’, prepares to take center stage at the William Pitcher Dining Hall.
Organised by the renowned Soul Therapy collective in association with the William Pitcher Poetry Society, the event marks a significant return for a group that has long been considered a cornerstone of Eswatini’s literary arts. After a period of relative quiet, this event serves as a powerful statement of intent, reaffirming the collective’s dedication to their audience and their craft.
The event, which is scheduled for February 6, 2026, will be steered by the versatile MC MDZ The Poet. Attendees can expect an afternoon dedicated to rhythmic expression, deep reflection, and spiritual healing, running from 2 PM to 5 PM.

A key figure behind the showcase, Caregiver, expressed that the transition into this new year has only strengthened the group’s resolve to deliver a world-class performance. Addressing the community directly to rebuild the bridge with loyal supporters, Caregiver emphasized the collective’s renewed energy and commitment to the art form.
“We want to put it out there to the people that ‘Soul Therapy’ is back and ready to deliver just like it has been doing over the years,” Caregiver stated. “We also want to revive hope to those who had lost hope in us”.
The upcoming event is curated to be inclusive, catering to both veteran poetry aficionados and newcomers. With an entry fee of only E30, the February showcase is expected to be a defining moment for the Eswatini arts scene in 2026. The event is proudly sponsored by Gameover Visuals.
