MBABANE – Excitement is building ahead of today’s highly anticipated Mbabane derby, with both Mbabane Highlanders and Mbabane Swallows calling on their supporters to come out in large numbers for the clash at Somhlolo Stadium.
The two football giants are expected to battle for pride and bragging rights in one of Eswatini’s biggest football fixtures, with fans already preparing to create a thrilling atmosphere in the stands.
Mbabane Highlanders Public Relations Officer Thabiso Manyatsi urged supporters to rally behind the black and white outfit and promised an entertaining encounter.
“We invite all football supporters to come and witness an exciting game. Fans should come in numbers and watch Highlanders score goals,” said Manyatsi.
On the other side, Mbabane Swallows supporters are also expected to turn out in full force to back their team in the much-awaited derby showdown. The rivalry between the two clubs has over the years produced memorable encounters, attracting large crowds and intense passion from supporters.
The atmosphere at Somhlolo Stadium is expected to be electric, with songs, chants and colourful displays from both sets of fans adding excitement to the occasion.
