MANZINI – The wait is over for gospel music enthusiasts as tickets for the highly anticipated seventh edition of the Mother of All Gospel Shows (MOAGS) have officially gone on sale.
Set to return to the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on May 9, 2026, the event is already generating massive buzz across the Kingdom. Organizers have urged fans to secure their spots early, as the show has a history of breaking attendance records and selling out weeks in advance.
The excitement for 2026 comes on the heels of a phenomenal 2025 edition, which solidified the event’s status as a cornerstone of Eswatini’s spiritual calendar. Held on May 10, 2025, the sixth edition featured an electrifying atmosphere that lasted until sunrise. That show was headlined by South African powerhouse SbuNoah, famous for his hit “Hallelujah Nkateko,” and Eswatini’s own Sphiwo Ndoni, who recently made headlines by winning Best Africa Artist of the Year at the Crown Gospel Music Awards.
The previous show was also notable for its inclusivity, introducing a Kid’s Fun Fair with zip lines and electric trains, making it a comprehensive family outing. Other standout performers from the 2025 stage included Oncemoresix, Mpumi Mtshweni, Linda Dlamini, and Sindi Ntombela, creating a seamless blend of local talent and international stars.
Founded in 2019 by visionary artist Nduduzo Matse, the Mother of All Gospel Shows is designed to be more than just a concert. It serves as a vital developmental platform for emerging Eswatini talent through its Rising Star Talent Search and industry workshops.
The 2025 edition successfully advanced 25 contestants through its rigorous elimination sessions, providing them with a rare opportunity to share a professional stage with industry giants.
