MANZINI – Mother of all gospel shows visionary Nduduzo Matse led the celebration of 10 years of the MOAGS with a special cake-cutting ceremony at Mavuso Trade Centre.
The Mother Of All Gospel Shows (MOAGS) reached a major milestone in Manzini as visionary Nduduzo Matse celebrated a decade of the gospel event alongside worshippers, artists, sponsors and the MOAGS team during an emotional moment at the Mavuso Trade Centre.
Matse, together with his wife Lungile Matse and members of the MOAGS team, took centre stage for the official cake-cutting ceremony marking 10 years of the gospel showcase under this year’s theme and slogan, “Decade Celebration”. The symbolic moment drew loud applause from the audience as attendees joined in celebrating the growth and impact of the event over the years.
Addressing the crowd, Matse expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported MOAGS since its establishment, including artists, sponsors, partners and worshippers who have continued to attend and believe in the vision of the platform. He acknowledged the dedication of the organising team and thanked gospel music supporters for helping the event grow into one of Eswatini’s leading gospel gatherings.
The atmosphere inside the venue reflected both celebration and appreciation as gospel music lovers captured the memorable moment on their mobile phones while others cheered during the ceremony. The event highlighted the journey of MOAGS from its early beginnings to becoming a recognised platform that brings together local and international gospel artists.
Beyond the celebrations, Matse also took to the stage for a spirit-filled performance that added to the powerful atmosphere of worship during the event. His stellar performance resonated with the audience as worshippers sang along and praised throughout the session.
This year’s MOAGS edition featured a strong line-up of gospel artists from Eswatini and South Africa while also including workshops aimed at equipping artists with industry knowledge and professionalism. The event continued to blend worship, entertainment and empowerment as part of its ongoing mission to uplift gospel music in the country.
