MBABANE – As the year 2026 begins, residents of Motshane Inkhundla have been encouraged to embrace unity, shared purpose and collective responsibility, following a heartfelt message delivered by their Member of Parliament, Wilton Nkambule.
The message, shared as a sincere plea to the community, sets a hopeful and inspiring tone for the year ahead, anchored in togetherness and continued progress.
In his New Year address, MP Nkambule extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Motshane, expressing hope for renewed strength, good health, peace and prosperity in every household. He used the moment not only to welcome the New Year, but also to reflect on how far the constituency has come through cooperation and mutual respect.
The message highlighted the importance of unity, symbolised by Lishongololo, a millipede, known for using its many feet (about 400) to carry its whole body when moving forward. By using this creature, Nkambule made a powerful reminder that progress is achieved through collective movement rather than individual effort. It serves as a call for residents to remain united, resilient and focused on shared goals.
