MBABANE – Gospel artist Nothando Hlophe has reached a new digital milestone as her single, “Methodist Medley,” surpassed 10 million views on YouTube this February.
The achievement comes just four months after the track was uploaded to digital platforms in October 8, 2025.
The song, recorded live at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in June 2025, has maintained consistent momentum since its release. It follows the success of other tracks from her album A New Dawn, including “Sithumela Wena,” which also reached the one million view mark earlier this year.
Sharing the news with her followers on Facebook, Hlophe expressed her appreciation for the reception the song has received.
“10 MILLION VIEWS in just 4 months… my heart is overwhelmed,” she posted. “Thank you to every single person who streamed, watched, shared, and prayed over the Methodist Medley. Your love carried this song further than I ever imagined.”
She further acknowledged the various entities that supported the project’s journey. “Deep gratitude to Eswatini Mobile for believing in the vision, Genesis Ekucaleni Media for investing in the dream, and Lokuhle Media Group for the management and guidance behind the scenes. I am forever humbled. This is God’s doing, and I will never take your love for granted.”
The “Methodist Medley” is noted for its arrangement of traditional hymns, which has resonated with a wide audience across the region. By blending familiar church melodies with contemporary production, the track has managed to secure a spot on various digital charts, including the South African YouTube Daily Music Chart and Spotify.
Management at Lokuhle Media Group noted that the success of the medley highlights a steady interest in spiritually grounded music that respects traditional roots while utilizing modern quality.
As 2026 progresses, Hlophe continues to be a prominent figure in the local gospel industry.
