MBABANE – Eswatini students studying in universities abroad have expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Mswati III for the opportunity.
The students, speaking on Eswatini TV News presented by Kusile Breakfast Show on April 21, 2026, said under the King’s leadership, the country has shown significant growth in the education sector.
This, they said when congratulating the King on his 40-year reign of the kingdom and 58th birthday.
“Under His Majesty’s leadership, the country has witnessed tremendous development. One of the remarkable development achievements was the establishment of the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP),” said one student.
She said infrastructure was destined to be Eswatini’s hub for innovation, research and high tech business development. It was said that the project is set to attract foreign direct investment. She said it was set to create opportunities and strengthen skills for future generations.
The student further noted that under the leadership of His Majesty the King, they have seen the construction of the International Convention Centre and Five Star Hotel (ICC&FISH). She said the infrastructure is expected to boost local tourism as it would attract tens of thousands of people from outside the country on an annual basis.
“The King’s continued collaboration with international investors has strengthened the kingdom’s business sector, creating job opportunities for Emaswati,” said another student.
She said under the King’s leadership, sectors such as education and health continue to be strengthened. She also noted growth on digital transformation and said these was as a result of expertise and resources that supported the country’s national goals. These systems were said to benefit all Emaswati.
The King was applauded for the upliftment of the youth, ensuring that they have business opportunities and acquire skills that would shape the future of the kingdom.
“Under His Majesty’s leadership our nation continue to move forward with confidence, unity and purpose. His dedication to national development provide direction, stability and hope for progress for Emaswati across all four regions of the country,” said a student.
Even with global challenges, under the King’s leadership, the students said, Eswatini continued to experience economic growth and national development.
One student pinpointed sectors such as Trade, Finance, Information, Communication and Technology, as well as Public Service, which she said continued to show strong growth regardless of continued global conflicts.
