MBABANE– The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office and MTN Foundation have been nominated for the 11th Eswatini Customer Service Excellence Awards in recognition of their respective contributions to communities.
The DPM’s Office is nominated under the Humanitarian and Community Project category for its housing project, while the MTN Foundation has been nominated for its 21 Days of Y’ello Care initiative.
The two nominations feature among those announced by Eswatini Customer Experience Practitioners (ECxP) on Wednesday ahead of the awards dinner scheduled for November 6, 2026, at Happy Valley Hotel.
The nominations were submitted by members of the public through an open survey conducted from September 1 to 28, 2026. According to ECxP, the public identified organisations and individuals who, based on their experiences, delivered outstanding customer service during the year.
The nominations will now undergo an independent adjudication process managed by Topline Research Solutions (TRS), which will verify the data, remove duplicate or invalid entries and assess nominees against established criteria.
ECxP said sponsorship of the awards or the accompanying conference would have no influence on the adjudication process or its outcome.
The DPM’s Office and MTN Foundation will compete in the Humanitarian and Community Project category alongside Oracle Innovative Lab, nominated for its business incubator initiative.

The awards are part of Eswatini’s commemoration of International Customer Service Week and are held under the theme “Going the Extra Mile.”
ECxP Executive Secretary Dr Oliver Museka said every nominee had been put forward by a customer who believed they had gone beyond expectations.
He said recognition from the people served was an achievement worth celebrating, adding that the organisation looked forward to honouring the winners at the awards dinner.
The 2026 awards also feature nominees across several categories, including government departments, healthcare, financial services, retail, hospitality and strategic leadership.
The winners will be announced for the first time during the awards dinner on November 6.
The event will run from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, with tickets priced at E950 per person or E9 500 for a table of 10.
The awards aim to promote service excellence across the country, while insights gathered through the process are expected to inform a planned Eswatini customer experience index.
