MBABANE– The Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) is celebrating a significant achievement as two of its dedicated staff members, Environmental Specialist Dr. Constance Van Zuydam and Engineer Khulile Fakudze, successfully graduated from the recent Commonwealth “Write-shop” Training programme. According to the information sourced from Eswatini Electricity Company facebook page their staff member’s accomplishment marks an important step not only for their professional growth, but also for Eswatini’s ongoing efforts to address climate change through innovation and sustainable development.
The specialised training programme brought together professionals focused on developing practical climate solutions through project design and proposal writing. During the workshop, participants contributed to the creation of eight climate change project ideas specifically tailored for Eswatini. Impressively, two of these ideas have already been refined into full proposals and submitted to international funding institutions for consideration.
