MBABANE – More than 200 people received free health checks at Horo Clinic as the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) project reached communities in northern Hhohho region.
The team focused on high blood pressure and diabetes, giving residents simple tips on healthy living and testing to help them know their risks.

According to Dr. Bo-Wei Su from National Taiwan University Hospital Hsinchu Branch joined the outreach, providing expert care for people with more serious conditions.
One patient, Lindiwe Dlamini, shared her relief “I had no idea my blood pressure was so high. This check-up has opened my eyes, and now I know what I need to do to take care of myself.”

Project leaders said their aim is to prevent illness before it starts. “We want people to think about their health every day, not only when they feel sick,” one coordinator said.
The NCD project is visiting communities across the country to raise awareness and promote healthy lifestyles.
Over 200 residents screened, focus on hypertension and diabetes, international support from Dr. Bo-Wei Su, and a call for daily health awareness.
