MBABANE– Eswatini gospel music sensation Mzayoni is set to usher in a spiritually uplifting season with the release of his much-anticipated new project, The Appointed Time, scheduled to drop on February 6, 2026.
The gospel star confirmed that the project was live recorded at Zakhele Church of the Nazarene, a setting he described as deeply symbolic and spiritually charged. Mzayoni explained that the live recording allowed for an authentic worship atmosphere that captures not only sound, but the spirit, emotion, and reverence of the moment. Reflecting on the long wait for this release, he shared that the project is the result of a season of prayer and patience. “After much prayer, patience, and purpose, the moment is finally here,” Mzayoni remarked.
The artist noted that The Appointed Time was intentionally prepared alongside a dedicated and passionate team that shared a common vision. According to the gospel star, every individual involved was committed to serving God’s people through music that honors Him in both message and quality. “This project has been carefully prepared by myself and an incredible team, committed to one thing: serving the people of God, music of excellence, worthy of our excellent God,” he said.
Mzayoni further revealed that every element of the project—from the instrumentation to the lyrics—was approached with deep respect for its spiritual significance. To ensure the final offering was a sincere act of worship, nothing was left to chance. “Every sound, every word, every moment was handled with reverence and intention,” he added, emphasizing the detail put into the vocal delivery.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude for the journey leading to this milestone, the gospel artist acknowledged the support of his team, the church, and the fans who have patiently waited for new music. He believes the upcoming release represents a testimony of obedience and faith. “We are deeply grateful for the journey, and just as excited as you are for what’s coming next,” said Mzayoni.
Addressing the anticipation surrounding the project, Mzayoni reassured gospel music lovers that the wait was purposeful and aligned with a higher will. “Trust me when I say the wait was necessary, and the time is appointed,” he said, describing the timing as divinely set. The Appointed Time will be available on all major digital music platforms, making it accessible to listeners both locally and internationally.
