NKHABA — Nkhaba Superstars emerged as the winners of the tournament held on Saturday, in a victory that not only gave the team bragging rights but also highlighted the tournament’s wider goal of creating opportunities for talented footballers to catch the attention of bigger teams.
The tournament brought players together during the current league break, allowing them to remain active, compete and showcase their abilities outside the regular league fixtures.
Nkhaba Member of Parliament Hope Shiba congratulated Nkhaba Superstars for their impressive performance, while noting that the initiative was designed to give players a platform where their talent could be seen and potentially open doors to bigger opportunities in football.
Shiba said the tournament was not simply about winning matches, but about creating a pathway through which talented players could gain recognition.
“Congratulations to Nkhaba Superstars for winning the tournament. With this initiative, we are also trying to help our players get recognised by the big teams,” said Shiba.
The MP said providing players with opportunities to compete during the league break could help them remain physically active while also giving them a platform to demonstrate their abilities.
