MANZINI – OK Foods, under the leadership of Managing Director Lincoln Motsa, has donated new soccer kits worth E10 000 to Manzini Central High School, strengthening the partnership between the retail brand and the institution while promoting youth development through sport.
Speaking at the presentation, Motsa said the donation represents more than just equipment. “This kit reflects our shared commitment to discipline, teamwork, and opportunity,” he said.
He explained that while the company typically recognises top academic performers at year-end, this occasion was dedicated to celebrating football and the values connecting the school and OK Foods.
“Manzini Central High School has made remarkable progress over the years. Learning conditions have improved, infrastructure has advanced, discipline has strengthened, and academic results continue to rise. The school is clearly building a legacy of excellence,” Motsa said.
Handing over the kits, he urged learners to carry the responsibility with pride. “Wearing this uniform means representing both the school and OK Foods. Show respect, dedication, and sportsmanship on and off the field,” he added.
Motsa also highlighted football as a stepping stone for young athletes. “Many professional journeys begin at school. With talent, discipline, and opportunity, learners can reach the Premier League and beyond,” he said.
Headteacher Mr Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini expressed gratitude to OK Foods and the Motsa family. “This donation strengthens our football programme and inspires learners to excel in sport and academics. Support from partners like OK Foods is invaluable,” he said.
The school also honoured a former player now competing professionally for Moneni Pirates FC, inspiring current learners. School Captain Muhle Siyaya thanked the sponsors on behalf of the team and pledged their commitment. “These kits motivate us to work hard and bring pride to our school,” Siyaya said.
The donation was warmly received by teachers, learners, and guests, highlighting the importance of local businesses investing in youth and education.
