MBABANE – Eswatini’s music scene has scored another major milestone after international DJ, choreographer and performer Sergy officially signed with Gem of Africa Record Label, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her fast-rising career.
The announcement was made by the record label, which described Sergy’s signing as a significant addition to its growing roster of African talent. Hailing from Ezulwini, Sergy has earned recognition for her electrifying stage presence and her ability to fuse Afro Tech and 3 Step sounds with captivating live choreography.
According to Gem of Africa, the entertainer’s artistry, discipline and dedication perfectly align with the label’s vision of nurturing artists capable of making an impact beyond their home countries.
“Gem of Africa Record Label is proud to announce the signing of Sergy, an international DJ, choreographer and performer from Ezulwini, Eswatini, as the newest artist to join the Gem of Africa family,” the label announced.
The label said its mission is to discover, develop and elevate African talent by creating opportunities for artists to compete and succeed on both local and international stages. It added that Sergy’s signing reflects its continued investment in the future of African music.
Fans will not have to wait long to hear what the partnership has in store, as Sergy is already in the studio working on her debut project under Gem of Africa. The label revealed that the project will introduce a fresh sound while highlighting the artist’s unique musical identity.
