MBABANE – Tonight is the night for Arsenal as the take on Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the first leg of the EUFA Champions League first leg match.

The game will kick-off at 9pm at the Emirates Stadium with the second leg match set for next week in Paris. Tomorrow on Wednesday, the second semi-final between Spanish side Barcelona and Italy’s Seria A side Inter Milan will take center stage, also with the second leg the following week.

The winners of the semi-finals will then battle in the final for the champion’s end of May.

The ‘Gunners’ (Arsenal) will take on the already-crowned French champions at the Emirates Stadium as they look to make a first Champions League final appearance since losing 1-0 to Barcelona in 2006. The north London outfit could meet the same opponents in the final in Munich this year as they did 19 years ago, with Barcelona facing Inter Milan in the other semi-final on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has in fact already played PSG in the Champions League this season, winning 2-0 at the Emirates in the revamped League Phase. Arsenal knocked out Real Madrid who were favorite to win the Champions League 5-1 on aggregate after their sterling performance.

Arsenal have been left disappointed going to the match after their attempt of winning the Premier League tittle were dashed with Liverpool being crowned champions on Sunday after their n5-1 thrashing on Tottehman with four games remaining. Liverpool were crowned with their 20th title, leading with 15 points with four matches remaining.
