MANZINI–DJ Brown Phalafala has released his official music video for “Imiva Yami” in Manzini on April 3, 2026.
The track features vocalist and producer Tus Mvuleni and SWAMA award-winning artist Street Cooper. The video marks the first official music video release for the artist, Xolani President Mavuso who is steadily building his name in Eswatini’s music industry.
The video was produced in collaboration with local filmmaker Luyanda Motsa, also known as Astom Films or Luda Films. It presents a polished visual that supports the song’s growing popularity on local radio, where it has been well received by listeners.
DJ Brown Phalafala also worked with local models Jessica Mathebula and Kasikazi, who feature in the video. Their appearance adds a creative visual element that reflects current trends in music storytelling.
The Manzini-born artist has previously collaborated with several local musicians, including Kena, Young Zii, Flame Masco, Darulah, KG Phalafala, Trippy King and Spitmatic. These collaborations have helped him expand his reach and develop his sound.
Looking ahead, the artist said he is eager to work with more talent in the industry. “I am looking forward to working with Umuti Ngwenya, Popzin, Young Zesh, K. Darrow, Sanchezy, Cool Drop, Fisiwe Shongwe, N Kay and Smally, King Fluet as well as the Black Shepherd,” he said.
He also confirmed plans to release more music, including upcoming singles titled “Phansi” featuring KG Phalafala and “Umgaca Mbongolo” featuring Tus Mvuleni and Darulah.
The “Imiva Yami” music video is currently available on digital platforms and satellite television channels such as Channel O, Trace and The Pulse, marking an important step in DJ Brown Phalafala’s career growth.
