EZULWIN –  FNB Eswatini has announced that its SicaloZero account customers will now swipe for free as part of a broader set of new pricing changes designed to help customers navigate ongoing economic pressures.

FNB SicaloZero is an entry-level transactional account designed for individuals earning up to E10 000 per month, including informal traders. Customers on this account, which also has no monthly account fee, will no longer be charged any fee for swiping with their cards, beginning July 1,2026.

According to FNB Eswatini’s Executive Head of Retail Dr. Mncedzi Ngomane, this move is one of many ways in which the bank is helping its customers navigate challenging economic times.

“We understand that our customers have differing needs and we took this into consideration as we deliberated on our pricing for the new financial year. We are therefore pleased that we have addressed critical needs across our different customer profiles, ensuring that, wherever they are in their life journey, our customers feel the helping hand of FNB Eswatini.

This is why, on top of making swiping free for FNB SicaloZero account holders, we have kept monthly account fees for Private Wealth, Private Clients and bundled Platinum customers unchanged, while the increase for the Smart account is below inflation,” he said. Dr. Ngomane added that the bank had made the first eWallet withdrawal free on its CashPlus service, which is accessed through over 800 active agents across Eswatini.

FNB Eswatini has kept most of its pricing (62%) unchanged. According to Chief Marketing Officer Sibusile Dlamini, the bank’s new pricing reflects its ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of its customers across all segments. “Our new pricing is underpinned by our new promise, ‘Help is for Everyone.’

This is based on a simple premise: FNB Eswatini is there to serve every single liSwati, young and old, rural and urban-based, employed and unemployed, civil servant or privately employed. FNB’s Help is for all emaSwati. Our new pricing brings this promise to life in line with our efforts to expand financial inclusion,” she said.

Among the free services are deposits on FNB CashPlus, internal debit orders, and scheduled payments, to name a few. In May this year, FNB Eswatini announced that it was doubling its Fuel Cash Back Rewards until August 2026 to help cushion its customers against increasing costs.
