MANKAYANEIn a heartwarming initiative that underscores its commitment to social responsibility, Mankayane United FC, in partnership with the Mankayane United Foundation, has donated 40 pairs of school shoes to learners from various schools around the Velezizweni constituency. This generous gesture is part of the club’s ongoing effort to empower youth both on the football field and in the classroom.

The donation is more than just a charitable act; it represents a deep commitment to dignity, education, and opportunity for the next generation. By providing essential school shoes, Mankayane United FC ensures that no child is left behind due to a lack of basic necessities. To date, the club has donated over 100 pairs of school shoes to schools across Mankayane, making a tangible difference in the lives of many young learners.

Club CEO Nkosinathi Mkhaliphi emphasized the broader vision behind these efforts. “Our mission is not only to give young talent a platform to showcase their skills but also to inspire and transform their lives holistically through sports and education,” Mkhaliphi said. “It is our mandate to impact the lives of the underprivileged and needy by conducting regular visits and making donations to local schools around Mankayane.”

This initiative reflects Mankayane United FC’s philosophy that sports and education go hand in hand in shaping a brighter future. By addressing both athletic and academic needs, the club is fostering a supportive environment where young people can thrive.

The community has welcomed this initiative with open arms, recognizing the club’s role as a pillar of support and hope. As Mankayane United FC continues to champion youth development, their efforts serve as an inspiring example of how sports organizations can give back meaningfully and sustainably.

With ongoing projects like these, Mankayane United FC is not just building a team but nurturing a community one pair of shoes, one learner, and one dream at a time.
